The agreement between Kosovo and Albania on education and scientific research has entered into force. According to this agreement, the two states will offer 30 scholarships for students up to 1000 euros per academic year, for each beneficiary.
Albania and Kosovo have started cooperation in the field of education. According to the agreement which was published in the official notebook, students and institutions will continuously exchange information regarding scientific research.
The cooperation will also extend to the active support of their institutions in the framework of the educational programs of the European Union, the Council of Europe and UNESCO.
The agreement states that both the Albanian and Kosovo governments will offer 30 scholarships for students up to 1000 euros per academic year for each beneficiary. The distribution of scholarships will be carried out based on the legislation of the respective country.
There will be working groups, consisting of 3-5 members, who will make visits to the country of the other party for the exchange of experience, for a period which will be determined by the relevant activities and budget forecasts.
