The Albanian national team is focused solely on the match on October 12 against the Czech Republic.

Coach Sylvinho expresses full confidence in the group of players he has at his disposal.

“At the moment, we are only thinking about an important match we have against the Czech Republic. Nothing else related to the European Championship or a player’s future concerns me. We know they are strong, a team that has not lost any matches. I am happy that the players are committed to their teams and are scoring. They are important players. Before the match against Poland, I told them that they are a strong team, but we also have strong players, good ones, and technically skilled,” Sylvinho said during a press conference this Saturday.

However, according to the Brazilian coach, whether the team will qualify for the next European Championship will only be learned during the two final matches in November.

“Calculations will be made in November. It’s a tough and balanced group. At the moment, we can’t make calculations, but in November, we will. It’s a tough match; we will play in front of our fans in a heated atmosphere. Anything can happen, but we have champions on the field. We have strong players who can make a difference. We have a tough match that lasts for 90 minutes, and we need to prepare well,” the coach advised.

When asked by reporters about the return of Armando Broja to the attack, the coach appreciated the player’s qualities but emphasized that the team’s strength is not one or two players but the entire group.

The Albania-Czech Republic match will be played on Thursday in Tirana.

The “Red and Blacks” are in first place in the group with 10 points, while the Czechs, who have one less match, are second with 8 points.
