Prime Minister Edi Rama was present at the event held at the Palace of Brigades by Forbes Global Properties, the international real estate network.

In his speech, Rama emphasized that Albania has now become an attractive destination for international networks.

“It is a very significant achievement. Today Albania is a very attractive destination, and this is a good thing. Forbes Properties showing interest in Albania is a good thing. They go where they believe there is a horizon for them. This is good news for Albanians as it means that their properties, their assets, are gaining value,” said Rama.

As a country aspiring for EU membership, Rama stated that real estate should be seen as an investment, showing that its value doubles.

“I have said that everyone should view real estate in Albania as an extraordinary opportunity and a major investment, because in 4–5 years we will be part of the EU, and this shows that the value of real estate doubles.

This message has been misunderstood, as if things will become more expensive, meaning it will be costly to buy a home. The positive part of the message is that every Albanian family will have a property of its own that will be worth much more in just a few years,” Prime Minister Rama declared.
