Joint patrols between the Kosovo Police and the Albanian State Police are starting.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has announced that, with the aim of preventing accidents and enhancing road safety, the Kosovo Police and the Albanian State Police have established a memorandum of cooperation for joint patrols of the two road police forces in the territory of the Republic of Albania.

Considering the number of Kosovar citizens who visit Albania for holidays and the high volume of vehicles circulating on the roads between the two countries, this joint patrol is deemed successful.

The objective of this joint patrol is to increase effectiveness in road safety, prevent violations, accidents, and create a safe environment for all participants in traffic.
