Albania did not report any deaths from COVID-19 over the last 24 hours, while the number of citizens that tested positive is 11.
Currently, there are 20 patients receiving medical care, with the number of those in intensive therapy dropping to 6.
According to estimates provided by the Health Ministry, more than 129.780 citizens have recovered from the virus.
Another positive indicator of the stabilized epidemiological situation is the number of active infections, currently at 189, of which 50 in Tirana.
The virus has claimed the lives of 2.452 citizens from the beginning of the pandemic, mostly from the densely populated capital.
In light of the general positive situation, the group of public health care experts, known as the Technical Experts Committee, decided to relax some of the measures as the country eyes tourism to boost its severely impacted economy.
