Albania did not record any COVID-19 related deaths over the last 24 hours, while only 1 person tested positive, according to the health ministry daily briefing.
Currently, there are only two patients receiving medical care, 1 in the ICU.
An estimated 2,455 citizens have succumbed to the virus from the beginning of the pandemic, while more than 129,000 have recovered.
Active infections stand across the entire country are reportedly at 87, of which 28 in Tirana and 26 in Shkodra.
On Wednesday, Austria announced that it will lift all restrictions on arrivals from Albania, with passengers allowed to cross the country without the need to present neither a vaccine certificate nor a negative COVID-19 test.
