The Albania national football team began preparations this Monday in Barcelona for the two upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifying matches against Andorra and England.

During the opening session, most of the players who had already arrived took part in training, while the group is expected to be completed later tonight with the arrivals of Thomas Strakosha, Nedim Bajrami, and Mirlind Daku.

The players started the session in the gym, followed by various tactical exercises on the pitch. Berat Gjimshiti and Arbër Hoxha trained only indoors, focusing on recovery, as they both played for their clubs yesterday.

The national team will continue preparations in Spain before traveling to Andorra for the match scheduled on November 13.
