Over the past 24 hours, 220 citizens tested positive to COVID-19, but no fatalities were recorded.

The majority of the new cases were detected in Tirana, which also has the highest number of active infections, estimated at 447.

Currently, there are 1,271 active cases across the country, of which 33 have been admitted to the hospital.

Albania counts 2,460 deaths from COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic, while so far over 130,400 have recovered from the virus.
