Albania secures 50 000 doses of the ‘Sputnik’ vaccine

Albania has secured another batch of 50 000 vaccines from the Russian variety ‘Sputnik’. The news was announced by PM Edi Rama, who also added that this batch will be arriving in our country within the next 10 days.

“We have just reached an agreement to bring to Albania, an additional 50.000 doses of the Sputnik vaccine, expected to arrive in the next 10 days,” wrote Rama.

The chief of state also said that with the current vaccination rhythm, Albania will be able to defeat the pandemic.

“We will win this war with the force of our character and our persistence and we will soon leave behind the tunnel of this pandemic, where the light at the end of it keeps getting bigger and bigger,” concluded Rama.
