Albania is among the latest countries to join Anadolu 21 military drills, after Turkey, Azerbaijan, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, and Uzbekistan.
Kosovo and Mongolia will also participate in the exercises but as observers.
The event has been organized by the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces.
According to the Turkish defense ministry, the objective of these exercises is to increase friendship, cooperation, and coordination through the elements of the Special Forces, and share information as well as knowledge on developing the capabilities to conduct joint operations.
The military drill comes right after NATO’s “Defender 21” that mainly took place on Albanian soil.
