Fatos Malaj, Albanian candidate of PASOK, said in an interview for Euronews Albania that he intends to be the voice of Albanians in the Greek parliament.

Malaj said that this is the second time he is running for PASOK, as he pointed out that it is the only party in Greece that has done something for the rights of immigrants.

“It’s the second time I’m competing with PASOK, I’ve been a member for 20 years because it’s the only party that has supported immigrants and gives them the right to vote in the organizational part. It is the only political force that granted the right in 2010 to immigrants to vote for local elections without having Greek citizenship, it is this force that in 2010 granted the right to second-generation immigrants to benefit from Greek citizenship. It is this force that gave the right of free movement to immigrants in 2010. That’s why I ask for the vote of the Albanian voters who have Greek citizenship so that I can be their voice in the Greek parliament”, said Malaj.
