Erion Zabeli, the defender of Albania U19, has transferred to the English Premier League to the Brentford team, thus registering a big step in his career.
Albanian athletes are raising the red and black flag, one of them is the 18-year-old, who is shining in England. Zabeli grew up as a footballer at the English Academy, while he is now taking confident steps in his career.
After experiences in the ages of Watford FC and recently part of Oxford United, he is now transferred to the ranks of the Premier League. More specifically, it is Brentford that has secured the services of the tall man. Thus making Zabel the youngest and only Albanian in history to be transferred thanks to a payment from one club to another English club.
The competition for the center back seems to have been difficult for the red and whites. This is because there has been interest from several big clubs for the member of the U15-U19 Albanian national team. such as: Leeds United, Brighton or Southampton in England. There were no offers from Scottish clubs such as Rangers, but even moving outside the United Kingdom, it was Brentford who secured the services of the footballer born in 2004.
The “bees” as they are otherwise known see a secure future in Zabel. Even comparing him for his style and physicality and the way he plays with the English defender, John Stones, who is currently part of Manchester City, is considered one of the best in the world in his role.
Zabeli is a promising player, and it is no surprise that he will follow the path of Armando Broja, to sign with the biggest English teams.
