A serious event happened today in Italy, where a 52-year-old Albanian lost his life at the workplace.

According to the Italian media, it is reported that the incident happened after a load of electrical materials, weighing about one ton, broke away from the crane where they were loaded and pulled down the Albanian from Kosovo.

The Albanian identified as Nazmi Morina, father of 4 children, lost his life today around 17:30 while working on the construction site of the Orzivecchi nursing home.

It is learned that he was an employee of Aurora Costruzioni from Orzinuov and was dealing with the unloading of some energetic materials loaded on the crane, which would be used for the reconstruction of the electrical and lighting system in the old people’s home.

It is suspected that the reason for the fall of the load was the disconnection of the belts that held the load.

He was found dead by a colleague who then notified the authorities. The prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation for “manslaughter” and has placed the site area, the crane and the loaded materials under seizure.

Originally from Kosovo, Nazmi Morina had been living in the Brescia area for almost 20 years, where he had built a future and a family. He lived in Rudiano with his wife and 4 small children.
