The Albanian Ambassador to Qatar, Ermal Kaleci, through a post on Facebook, reacted regarding the situation in the Middle East. Kaleci emphasized that the Albanian Embassy in Qatar is closely monitoring developments related to the regional security situation in general, and in Qatar in particular.
The ambassador advised Albanian citizens in Qatar to remain inside their homes and residences and, in the event of further explosions, to take the necessary precautionary measures by avoiding unnecessary movement and following the instructions and protocols issued by local authorities. Kaleci also shared contact numbers for communication in case of emergencies.
“Dear compatriots, the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Qatar is closely monitoring developments regarding the regional security situation as a whole, and in particular in Qatar, in close coordination with the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Qatari authorities, and the resident Diplomatic Missions in Doha.
At present, the necessary security conditions are not favorable for resuming normal daily activities. Therefore, we advise you to remain inside your homes and residences in the event of further explosions and to take the necessary precautionary measures in this situation by avoiding unnecessary movement and following the instructions and protocols issued by local authorities.
The Embassy calls for calm, increased caution, vigilance, and patience in overcoming this difficult situation. Currently, the airspace of the State of Qatar remains closed until further notice.
In order to avoid misinformation, the Embassy reiterates the importance of following updates through reliable local and international media outlets.
