The Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja, left today for an official visit to Rome, within the framework of strengthening the jurisdictional relations between Albania and Italy in the justice system.
During the two-day official visit, Minister Manja will hold high-level political meetings of the Italian state and the judicial system.
“In the framework of strengthening our Anticorruption Directorate, a “Memorandum of Understanding” will be signed with the Italian National Anticorruption Agency, which will serve to strengthen cooperation in this field, bringing the best practices from the neighboring country.
This agreement marks a qualitative step in our vision for the transformation of the anti-corruption directorate into a real anti-corruption agency” – said Minister Manja.
During the official visit, Minister Manja will also meet the Italian Minister of Justice, Carlo Nordio, with whom he will discuss the expansion of cooperation between the two ministries in the civil and criminal fields.
