FIFA published the rankings of national teams after matches played in June, with Argentina remaining in first place.
What stands out is the absence of Germany among the top 10 teams in the world, as they have dropped to 15th place.
The Albanian national team has experienced a slight improvement following positive performances in June, specifically after the two victories scored against Moldova and the Faroe Islands.
The “Red and Blacks” are currently ranked 65th with 1357.3 points.
As for Group E, which Albania is a part of in the Euro 2024 qualifiers, Poland has the highest ranking, sitting at 26th in the world.
The defeat suffered against Moldova has caused Poland to lose ground, being surpassed by Serbia.
The same match has also had a positive impact on Moldova, who have climbed seven places in the rankings but still remain far behind the other teams in the group.
Czech Republic, the group leader, is ranked 37th, followed by Hungary and Wales.
As for the Faroe Islands, they are currently ranked 129th.
