A ferry that was headed to Bari has returned to the airport again, after a passenger suffered a miscarriage.

The captaincy of the port of Durrës has announced that the ferry has returned again, while in order to pick up the sick citizen, the APD ambulance was placed on the peninsula to transport the patient to the hospital.

“The captaincy of the Port of Durres informs you that: after the notification I received at 15:50 from Af Marina, which had left from the Port of Durres at 13:00 (double course) in the direction of Bari, for a medical emergency (abortion spontaneous) of an Albanian citizen, upon receiving the notification, the ferry was ordered to return to the port and the tug Joni was placed on the peninsula to go to the port to pick up the sick citizen, also in cooperation with the port authority, the APD ambulance was placed on the peninsula to transport the patient to the hospital, at 17:15 the citizen with the initials boarded the tugboat m/s Joni and at 18:00 entered the port, at 18:05 she boarded the ambulance at the passenger terminal to be transported to hospital!” the announcement says.
