The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, has returned his tour with the diaspora. After a few months’ stop, the meetings of the head of government with Albanians abroad are expected to resume on October 26, when he will be in New York.

Prime Minister Rama’s tour with the diaspora started in May 2024 and currently only two meetings have been held.

The first meeting was held in Athens on May 12, while the second meeting was in Milan on May 26.

After the first two meetings, the prime minister’s meetings with Albanians abroad were interrupted, this and because of the summer holidays.

The head of the government and the Socialist party are paying more attention to meetings abroad, especially in the context of the 2025 elections and the application of the diaspora vote for the first time.
