President Bajram Begaj held various meetings during his participation in the General Debate Week of the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Among his meetings were those with the presidents from Kenya, Botswana and South Sudan. He asked his three counterparts to recognize the Republic of Kosovo.

During the meeting, the presidents underlined that the exchange of visits at the political level will give an impetus to the development of cooperation between Albania and the respective countries, especially in the framework of international organizations.

The Head of State also focused on developments in the Western Balkans region.
