The head of the government, Edi Rama, reacted to the terrorist attack in Ankara, where two policemen were injured, while the police surrounded the area.
In a post he made on social networks, Rama considered it a terrible act, which Albania strongly condemns.
“The terrorist attack in Ankara is a despicable act of cowardice that Albania strongly condemns. It should help many in Europe to better understand and support Turkey in its fight against terrorism,” wrote Albanian Prime Minister in X platforme.
Also, President Bajram Begaj has expressed concern about the terrorist act in Ankara, where two policemen were injured.
In a post he made on social networks, he expresses solidarity for the Turkish people and government while strongly condemning terrorist acts.
“I’m deeply disturbed by today’s terrorist act near Ankara’s Turkish Parliament, injuring several police members.
I firmly support the Turkish people and government in denouncing terrorism and restoring peace and stability.
Such acts clash with the values of our modern world,” wrote Albanian President.
