A special concert was held this weekend at the “Andon Zako Çajupi” theater in Korçë, where the instrumentalists of the band “L’orchestra i sedici” were gathered from many countries around the world to play for Korça art lovers.

Part of the concert was the well-known Albanian soprano Arlinda Morava, who continues to be among the best sopranos in Romania.

“It was a miracle, to return in Korça, to my country, my home. In the place where culture and art have roots and foundations, people are loved and free to sing. The most beautiful thing that can happen is when cultures come together, because they make people more beautiful, better. Where there is art and culture, there is humanity,” said Morava.

Conductor Pandi Bello and professor Lorenc Radovani described this concert as a special value for the city of Korça.

“The concert of this orchestra is for the first time in Korça, the instrumentalists are of high caliber, and they played not only classical pieces but also parts of the cultures of the Albanian mothers, the identical character of Korça and Shkodra and the level of execution the public waited with great enthusiasm because they are always true,” Bello said.

The concert combined classical music with Romanian and Albanian music, returning at the end the internationally famous singer Tefta Tashko Koço, with the well-known song “Kur me vjen burri nga stani”.
