A 41-year-old woman ended up in a serious condition in Korça hospital after consuming mushrooms.

The event happened around 23:00, Sunday evening, the 41-year-old woman was sent immediately to the hospital for first aid.

From there, she was transported to the Korça regional hospital, where she is in a critical state of health, admitted to reamination.

Family members have declared in front of Devolli’s blue uniforms that the woman ate mushrooms and is suspected of being poisoned by them.

Mushroom poisoning was also confirmed by the doctors of the Korça hospital.

The police are carrying out actions to clarify the circumstances of the event, as it is not yet known how this citizen consumed the poisonous mushrooms.
