The number of active infections in Albania has dropped below 80, while two counties have completely eradicated the virus, namely Gjirokastra and Fier.
On Thursday, two citizens tested positive for COVID-19 and no deaths were recorded.
Currently, there are an estimated 78 active cases across the country, while there are only a total of 3 patients receiving medical care in hospitals.
So far, nearly 130,000 citizens have recovered from the virus.
The virus has claimed 2,455 since its first outbreak last year on March 9.
