This Saturday the Socialist Party will hold an extraordinary congress to mark its 30th anniversary.
Taulant Balla, General Secretary of the SP, revealed some details prior to the event.
“We are bringing back all the valuable contributions of all those that have contributed to the Socialist Party,” Mr. Balla said.
The congress will convene at 17:30 and the event will be held at the “Air Albania” stadium. Prime Minister Edi Rama is set to give the keynote address, where he will unveil objectives of the party’s third governing term.
“We will present our vision ‘Albania 2030’ and within this vision we will briefly present our objectives, our program for the new governing term, which will be the axis of the program that the Rama 3 government will present in the Albanian Assembly in September,” Mr. Balla further said.
An analysis of party structures will also take a special place during the presentation.
“We will present an analysis and complete reorganization of the structure of the Socialist Party throughout the territory, at all levels, from basic to central level,” he added.
