The Prime Minister of Kosovo confirmed on Thursday that a deal has been reached over the reciprocity of license plates between Pristina and Belgrade.

“Since Kosovo’s license plates in Serbia will be covered, all Serbian plates will also have their symbol covered on our territory”, said the prime minister on Facebook.

Kurti explained that since the blockade will be removed from Jarinje and Bernjak, there is no reason to have troops from the Special Police dispatched at the border.

“Last week, the Serbian President outlined four conditions for the meeting in Brussels of our representatives. Of course, none of them was accomplished. Today marks the beginning of an era when Serbia starts getting used to reciprocity”, concluded Kurti.
