The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has talked with the Serbs from Kosovo regarding the current situation in Kosovo. They have informed the Serbian president that they will continue their protests in the north, reports Serbian public broadcaster, RTS.

Representatives of Serb List, the largest party of Serbs in Kosovo, said after the meeting that they went to Belgrade to inform Vucic about the “extremely difficult” situation not only in the north, but also south of the Iber River.

Vucic himself had warned that he would meet with the representatives of the Serbs from Kosovo from June 9 to 12.

Goran Rakic, the chairman of Serb List, said he brought with him videos that, according to him, clearly showed the arrest of Radosh Petrovic and Dusan Obrenovic. Rakiq said that these two people, who were arrested by the authorities in Kosovo, did not threaten anyone, except the soldiers of the peacekeeping mission of NATO in Kosovo, KFOR.

This party has demanded the release of two arrested Serbs.

He also repeated the demands he has submitted to the American envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, and the European envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajçak, that the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority in Kosovo should be approved as soon as possible, as well as the statute for the Association must be approved by Belgrade, Pristina and the EU, because the European bloc is the guarantor and signatory of the agreement.
