The director of DP’s campaign and candidate Alfred Rushaj said that DP has built a structure for the protection of the vote as well as to protect voters, commissioners and the monitors of April 25th’s election day.

During his interview on ‘Ilva Now’, DP’s candidate declared that every day, he receives denouncements for vote-buying by the government.

“In the 4th administrative unit, the government is making favors for legalizations, where you have to go to the party’s offices in order to benefit. They are trying to buy democratic voters by taking their cards and giving them money,” said Rushaj.

However, according to him, the difference is so great that they still can’t change the end result of these elections.

Rushaj didn’t prefer to give any forecast regarding the end result of these elections, but he added that his main concern is getting as many votes as possible but also protecting each and every one of them.

“We have raised the necessary structure for vote protection for a month now. The protection of the vote is seen not only as a process that starts on the day the citizen goes to vote. We have a duty to first and foremost denounce all violations to the competent bodies like CEC or SPAK,” said Rushaj.

The director of DP’s campaign said that on voting day there will be volunteers that will work specifically to monitor and protect democratic voters as well as the commissioners and electoral monitors.
