The leader of the Democratic Union for Integration (DUI), Ali Ahmeti, during his stay in Tirana, where he will take part in the nationwide protest “Justice for the Liberators”, was received in a meeting by the President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj.
According to DUI, the meeting focused on current developments in the region, Euro-Atlantic processes, and the important roles that Albania and North Macedonia play in maintaining peace, stability, and regional cooperation.
Chairman Ahmeti congratulated President Begaj on Albania’s progress toward European integration, emphasizing that it is vital for North Macedonia to advance alongside Albania in this process.
“The road to Brussels is a strategic national journey that strengthens peace, development, and regional cooperation.
Our two countries must move forward side by side toward a shared European future,” Ahmeti stated.
