Mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj appeared at the Special Prosecution Office on Thursday morning. The mayor did not comment to the media on his presence at SPAK but offered seasons greetings to journalists. Veliaj’s presence at SPAK is related to an investigation that has been launched against him and his family regarding their wealth and assets.

The government on Thursday approved another bonus for families in need. The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Albana Koçiu, declared that 275,000 families or individuals receiving social assistance will receive an extra 150 EURO.
