Prime Minister Edi Rama declared today that the production of defense equipment will start very soon. Rama said that some of the factories and plants that were used during the communist era will be reactivated, but with new modern technology.

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, promised today that if he wins the elections, the Democratic Party government will compensate all businesses that have lost money due to the fall of the Euro currency in the exchange rate with the Albanian lek.

The Minister for Local Government, Arbjan Mazniku, is being questioned by the Tirana prosecutor’s office about an investigation launched for abuse of office. Mazniku is currently the political leader of the Socialist Party in the Elbasan district, while he previously held the position of deputy mayor of Tirana.

The First Court of Pristina has issued arrest warrants for Milan Radoićić and 19 other Serbs, suspected of the criminal offense of “war crimes against the civilian population.” Radoićić is accused of the terrorist attack in Banjska in 2023 that left a Kosovo police officer dead.
