At around 05:00 a.m. on Monday, another group of 150 Afghan citizens landed at the ‘Mother Theresa’ airport in Rinas from Abu Dhabi, through the 6^th plane bringing in Afghan refugees to our country.

Immediately after their arrival, everyone underwent health checkups and filled out all documentations and identity verifications.

103 of them were accommodated at the university student dorms in Tirana, whereas 47 headed to the city of Durres, where they will be provided housing in hotels that have been arranged in advance.

To date, a total of 607 Afghan citizens have arrived in our country.

According to the Albanian government, our country will be expecting around 4.000 Afghan refugees that will be accommodated in our country temporarily, with their final destination being the United States.
