Democratic MP and candidate for mayor in Tirana, Belind Kellici, reacted after the incident that took place this Tuesday at the opposition protest where a citizen punched the head of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha in the face.
Kellici has sent a direct message to the head of the government Edi Rama, saying that he hopes that he is not the one behind this assault, while adding that they will go to the end in order to resolve this issue.
“I want to start with a direct message for Edi Rama, I hope that you are not behind today’s incident. On November 12, you were declared an enemy in the square in front of all Albanians. I hope it’s not you or the bastards you have in the Municipality of Tirana for what happened today, we will go to the end,” he said.
A citizen attacked Berisha at noon today, while he was walking alongside Ilir Meta towards “Deshmoret e Kombit” boulevard to participate in the protest.
