Austria has lifted all restrictions on travel with Albania, therefore Albanian nationals can now move freely, without even the need to present a negative PCR test upon arrival, nor a vaccine certificate.
On Facebook, Tirana International Airport confirmed that passengers can travel without restrictions to Austria from Thursday.
“Austria lifted all restrictions on passengers holding a biometric passport traveling to Austria starting from June 24, 2021”, the announcement read.
The only criteria are wearing an FFP2 type of mask during travel.
The epidemiological situation in Albania has been quite stable, with hospitalizations falling below 10, giving some relief to businesses ravaged by the pandemic as they look ahead the tourist season.
