Azerbaijan is in the negotiation phase of building a gas distribution network in Albania. Azeri President, Ilham Aliyev gave the news in the fourth international conference on “Shaping Geopolitics of the Greater Eurasia: from Past to Present to Future”, organized by ADA University, to mark the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
“Albania doesn’t have a gas distribution network. We are planning to invest a substantial amount of money to create this distribution network. Slovakia is joining as well. If now we export to six countries, within one year it can be 10. This is not the end,” the Azeri president said.
