Businesses and citizens are more optimistic about the economy. According to the survey of the Bank of Albania, the economic sentiment indicator improved in April and scored 114.6 percentage points, out of 100, which is the average comparative level.

The confidence of the citizens has increased this several months, and the positive perception comes from the general economic situation, and the greater opportunities for purchases in large amounts such as spending on a car or apartment in the future.

Even businesses according to the survey have optimistic expressions. For example, in the industry sector they are satisfied with the current production and ordering contracts.

While, in the construction industry, based on the level of current orders, sales are expected to increase in the future.

Meanwhile, in the services sector, the confidence indicator marked a decline, both in the current business performance and in the level of demand.
