Bad weather conditions have been reported in the south of Albania as well, where the situation is most problematic in Korca and Vlora.
Euronews Albania correspondent, Xhensil Shkembi, reports that due to the high winds, 40 villages in Korca have been left without electricity.
Likewise, in the district of Devoll there are presently around 12 villages without electricity, and authorities have yet to come out with a statement as to when the situation will be fixed.
Meanwhile, Euronews Albania correspondent, Ebrieta Macaj, reported of a similar situation in Vlora, where many villages have been left without power, while in several others, power has been cut off intentionally.
