Bad weather has engulfed the country these days in some villages and cities of Albania, causing some roads to be passable and some not.
Based on the reports of the structures of the Civil Defense system at the National Operational Center of Civil Emergencies, the situation up to these moments is presented as follows:
According to ARRSH, as far as road axes are concerned, all national axes are passable, with the exception of some roads that connect administrative units with villages.
In the Kukës district, all roads have become passable, except for the road that connects the administrative unit of Arra with the national road and the roads of the villages of Cahan, Xhebexhi, and Vlahen of Has municipality.
In the district of Dibra, the “Arbri” road is impassable in Qaf Murriz, as there is heavy snowfall. Meanwhile, contracting firms are working to open this axis.
The municipality of Dibra has blocked the road from the Lure administrative center to the main axis, but work is underway to open the crossing from Rreshen. Also the roads that connect the villages with the Selishte administrative units.
Internal roads in the administrative units Ostren, Trebisht and partially in the administrative unit Zerqan, Martanesh and Fushë-Bulqize are blocked in Bulqizë municipality.
In the municipality of Klos, the roads of the villages with the administrative centers of Gurë and Xibër are blocked.
In the municipality of Mat, only 2 villages in the Komsi administrative unit and the Vig Macukull road axis are blocked.
In the Durrës district, the Cudhi-Qafeshtame road axis is now passable after work with the tools of the Kruja municipality. Currently, work is being done on the road that connects the village of Bruz-Mal with the Cudhi-Qafeshtame axis.
In the Shkodra district, in the municipality of Fushë-Arrëz, work is being done to unblock the roads that connect the administrative unit of Iballe with its villages. While the Kir-Shosh segment continues to be blocked.
Lezha district, all national road axes are passable, including the Church road, which was opened for traffic with winter tires.
