The intense snowfall and strong wind have created problems in some areas of Elbasan District, especially in the villages of Librazhd and Prrenjas Municipalities. Temperatures have dropped to -5°C, while the thickness of snow in some places has reached up to 20 cm.

Despite the difficult weather conditions, the main roads are passable. The national axis Librazhd-Peshkopi and Përrenjas-Qafë Thane do not present problems for traffic, as there is no snow.

However, bad weather has caused faults in the electrical network, leaving around 1500 subscribers without power. The most affected areas include:

Skroskë and Peshtan villages

The villages of Librazhd: Zgosht, Qarrishte, Stërblevë and Lunik

The villages of Elbasan: Zavalin, Pashtresh and Selta
