The head of the Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has published on his social networks the spot of the protest on October 7, called by the Democratic Party as a sign of opposition action, after the imprisonment of MP Ervin Salianji.

In addition to the posted video, Bardhi has called on all citizens and supporters of the Democratic Party to join the protest, which according to him is a means of showing that the opposition cannot lose what it has gained in political life.

Gazment Bardhi’s post:

“Albania has never risked so much to lose everything it won with an unparalleled battle 34 years ago. Democracy is in danger. Edi Rama’s personal state suppresses the impossible and protects criminals and the corrupt.

All together, on October 7, 2024, at 18:00, we march towards Tirana, to show everyone that what we have won with so much effort, we cannot hand it over easily!”
