Researcher Panajot Barka said in an interview for Euronews Albania that the visit of Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis to the Greek minority in Albania was a historic one.

“The visit of Mitsotakis is a historic visit, the first of a Greek prime minister after 31 years to visit the minority and the first to visit Himara,” said Barka.

According to him, it is unnecessary to discuss the history of Himara, and therefore the importance of the visit is great. However, the researcher clarified that Mitsotakis is not expected to resolve anything with his visit.
