According to the CEC, until 11.00 on January 15, 2025, 15,905 voters from the diaspora submitted a request to register on the platform of voters from abroad.

The distribution of voters from abroad spans all continents, with Europe and North America dominating.

The countries with the highest number of applications are Italy with 4773 applications, Greece 3363, Germany 2552, the USA 1572 and the United Kingdom with 1284 voters outside Albania who have expressed interest in registering.

The geographical distribution of voters from abroad shows once again the great challenge that the CEC has to carry out the process of sending and returning the vote by mail within the stipulated time.
