The barometer in Euronews Albania has asked the citizens of Tirana about the main problems of the city. 32.6% of the citizens of the capital think that the main problem is the cost of living, 28.2% of the citizens think that the main problem is traffic and the time spent in traffic.

For 19.1% of citizens, the main problem is pollution, while for 16.2%, the problem is road infrastructure.

12.8% of citizens see public spaces as the main problem, 12.6% say unemployment, 11.9% the density of buildings and 11.7% overpopulation.

On the other hand, for 11.2% of the citizens of Tirana, the main problem is drinking water and sewage, for 9.6% it is corruption, for 8.6% it is public transport, for 7.5% public space, for 7.2 the economy and for 5.4% the main problem is local taxes.

But compared to three months ago, this ranking has changed. The main problem then was traffic and time spent in traffic with 30.3%, followed by road infrastructure with 26%, pollution with 25%, cost of living with 24.7%, water potable with 19.7%, constructions 17.3%, public spaces with 14.2%, parking with 7.5%, unemployment with 6.7%, cleanliness with 6.2% and low salaries and pensions with 6.1%

The cost of living is an increased problem for the citizens of Tirana from 24.7% that was in February, in March it went to 33.3% and in April 32.6%.

Traffic and time spent in traffic is a problem that has increased from February where it was 30.3% to 38.6% in March but there was a decrease in April to 28.2%.

Environmental pollution is a problem that has suffered a decrease from February where it was 25% to 14% in March and in April there was an increase to 19.1%.

Road infrastructure is one of the issues that has suffered a drop from February which was 26% to 23.8% in March and to 16.2% in April.

Public spaces and parks are a problem that in the last 3 months there were changes from 14.2% in February to 17.3% in March and in April there was a decrease to 12.8%.
