The leader of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha has immediately reacted after the release of the government’s strategy to tackle the energy crisis.
According to Basha, the government is using the crisis to “conceal their upcoming thefts”.
The leader of the Democrats is hinting at the amount of €200 million which PM Edi Rama said to allocate in order to cover the deficit and protect families and small enterprises from price hikes.
Basha argued that the government declared the state of emergency to abuse with tenders, and compared it to the situation after the earthquake and the pandemic.

“A crisis to conceal the theft. He is only concealing the upcoming theft through OSHEE by justifying the crisis. Just like he did with the secret tenders during the pandemic. Just as he did with the tenders intended to feed the families struck by the earthquake”, wrote Basha on Twitter.
