The democratic party’s campaign was focused in Malesia e Madhe region in Northern Albania. Lulzim Basha held another meeting with representatives of the Association of Medicinal Plants, during which he accused the socialist party for abandoning farmers, to whom Basha promised subsidies of up to 100 million euros.

“By eliminating all bureaucracies, and by all bureaucracies, I mean all those unsolved troubles starting from property certificates, land all the way to your TIN (tax-payer identification) numbers, where we will make it possible for all Albanian farmers to have only one personal identification number and TIN number.

Let’s continue with the latest inventions that have been enforced in recent months, with the 20.6% differentiation, which falls on the shoulders of Albanian farmers and the agricultural-processing industry.

We are offering a plan of 100 million euros per year, which will provide the Albanian farmer with the chance to reap the benefits of his or her work. And that to me doesn’t just mean being able to feed his or her children, but it means making farmers part of the Albanian middle class,”- said Basha.
