DP chair, Lulzim Basha reacted on social media after Rama’s closing speech regarding the end of his second term in power, during which he gave a rundown of his administration’s work and achievements, while comparing it with 8 years ago.
Through a post on his personal Twitter account, the democratic leader reminded Rama that the taxes of citizens that he claims go for incinerators and corruption, which according to Basha has captured the state, have spread across every cell of the government.
“It impoverishes and alienates Albanians, abandoned even in times of pandemics with the highest number of deaths in relation to the population in Europe and the smallest economic packages on the continent, the integration in which is held hostage by successive failures.
This is the real rundown of a regime that massacres elections only to steal Albanian families. Its authors should have been brought to justice for what they have done to Albania and Albanians in these 8 years, not by telling stories about imaginary achievements,” wrote the chair of DP, on Twitter.
Today, DP has also gone to SPAK in order to ask about information regarding denouncements this party has filed one year ago regarding the waste incinerators.
DP representatives, Clirim Gjata and Enkelejd Alibeaj stated during a press release that they are asking SPAK to inform them on the current state of investigations regarding what they are claiming to be a ‘clear corruptive scheme that extorts the state budget and Albanian tax-payer money”.
