The Kosovo army has been equipped with Bayraktar drones, for which months ago the Ministry of Defense signed a contract with a manufacturing company in the state of Turkey.

The drones arrived during the past two days at the International Airport of Pristina, for which the Security Forces were added to the VIP area of ​​the Airport.

The media in Turkey have reacted to the arrival of drones in Kosovo. They tried to get official information from the Ministry of Defense, but the officials of this ministry did not react related to the calls.

The Minister of Defense, Armend Mehaj, during a visit to Turkey last year, was informed of the drones and the latest technology being produced at the Baykar company.

Also, the Kosovo’s president Vjosa Osmani visited the “Bayrakar” drone factory last year.

Smart drones are unmanned attackers, controlled from a ground base.
