Peter Willems from Belgium spends his holidays in Pogradec together with his wife of 15 years.

He says the reason he has been coming to the lake city for so many years is the welcoming people, the delicious food, the lake and the tranquility he finds here.

“We come from Belgium, we have been coming here every summer for many years. It is very nice every year and more, there is definitely development. The infrastructure is changing, the people here are very hospitable, the lake is peaceful, the prices are very affordable and we enjoy ourselves every time we come”, said Peter Williams.

During all these years, Peter has been talking to his friends about Pogradec and the beauties that this city offers, who have been interested in visiting it.

“It is the first time in Albania, in Pogradec. I like it very much, I am very surprised. What do I like more? Girls! My friend told me to come here and I don’t regret coming. The prices surprise me and the love that people have”, said Steven Christiaens.

“The first time I come to Albania. Our neighbors told us about Pogradec and asked us to come here. I am in love with the people here, the lake, the food, the prices, the tranquility. Here you can relax”, said Chantal De Bruyne.

The city of Pogradec, together with the tourist villages of Lin and Tushemisht, but also the area of ​​Mokra, where the Illyrian ruins and the Ura e Golik are located, have been visited by many foreign tourists, mainly from Northern Europe.
