The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, said during a conversation with the citizens that Lulzim Basha and Enkelejd Alibeaj no longer have a place in the Democratic Party.

Enkelejd Alibeaj who a few days ago resigned from his position in DP, responded to this statement through a post on social networks.

Alibeaj writes that “the big loser of the May 14 elections has found new enemies”. He qualifies Berisha as the real reason for the split of the opposition.

“The big loser of the May 14 elections found new enemies today, publishing the list of the next excluded. Immersed in the defeat it brought to the democrats and the opposition, the syndrome of communism returns as always when it loses by declaring hostile groups.

Albanians are clear that Sali Berisha is the cause of the disintegration of the opposition, as his alliance with Ilir Meta has produced LSI councilors with the votes of the Democrats in every municipal council. The cooperation of Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta at the expense of the democrats and Albanians is one of the reasons why there was a mass rejection on May 14 and that keeps Edi Rama’s regime going,” writes Alibeaj in his post.
