The Supreme Court has registered this Friday another request of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and his son-in-law Jamarbër Malltezi for the revocation of the security measure.

Berisha and Malltezi oppose the “house arrest” measure. Berisha has been in this measure since December 30, 2023, by the decision of judge Irena Gjoka.

Meanwhile, Malltezi since November 21 of the same year, by the decision of the judge of the Special Appeal Ilirjana Olldashi, as he was initially sentenced to prison.
