Former prime minister Sali Berisha, in his meeting held in Kavaja during the presentation of the candidate Fisnik Qosja, said that in 2 years of attacks against them, the democrats showed their courage before the regime of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Berisha said that none of these efforts stopped the democrats from participating in the elections and winning.

“We stood up and were not defeated, because we are citizens, we are people who believe that we make mistakes, we never consider ourselves infallible. But we recognize mistakes and don’t repeat them, accept them and don’t repeat them. Fisnik said that we made a big mistake 4 years ago. But I will confess to you here, that these weeks the most anti-democratic, primitive, vindictive attempts have been made to prevent us from participating in the elections. We will participate in the elections and we will win. Nothing stops us from respecting the aspirations, the will, the representation, the wishes of the Albanian citizens. We will participate in the elections and we will win”, said Berisha.
